About five years ago I saw some cigar box guitars at an art festival. That got me started learning how to build stringed instruments. My goal was to build them with the best sound and playability.
I build several types of instruments these days, cigar box ukuleles, ammo box electric guitars, animal skulls, gourd banjos and many others made from just about anything. The trick with each instrument is to come up with a way to attach the neck so its solid with the body.
Every instrument neck is built with quality wood, mahogany or maple for the neck and rosewood, padauk or bubinga for the fret boards and headstock overlay. Plus extra details like 12 inch fretboard radius, low profile neck and low string action make these easy to play.

Musical instruments can be made out of anything! I am available to work on any custom designs. Or I can customize models I already make.
